George Lucas plans new museum on Chicago waterfront.

Speaking at the Chicago Ideas Week, George Lucas revealed details of the shape and contents of his new museum which he is planning to construct on a 17-acre plot on Chicago’s lakefront. Lucas said the planned Lucas Museum of Narrative Art would have a building that was ‘iconic’, with an ‘organic architecture’, and that it would contain much more than Star Wars exhibits. There will be artifacts from Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Norman Rockwell paintings and other famous illustrative works. Read more: chicagotribune.com
