Highlights
Colonia Roma
This neighborhood developed around the early 20th century, so much of its architecture reflects an early 1900s European influence. During today’s walking tour, you’ll notice grand mansions, Art Deco buildings, and colonial-era structures. The neighborhood’s wide boulevards and leafy streets combine this variety of architectural styles alongside early 20th-century constructions, mid-century Modernist designs, and even some contemporary buildings, creating a true blend of time frames and architectural legacies.
Museo Mural Diego Rivera (optional)
During your free time today, you can immerse yourself in Mexico City’s art history. You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the grand murals of Diego Rivera. The artist’s vivid storytelling and colossal artworks provide insights into Mexico's history and societal struggles, and provide a chance to witness the powerful artistic expression of one of Mexico's most celebrated artists. The museum's setting within a historic building further enhances your experience, letting you appreciate the murals in their intended context.
