Sleeping in a house made of sweets might sound like a Christmas fantasy or something out of a fairytale, but that dream has become a reality this holiday season and right in the middle of London.

Booking.com has launched the Candy Cane House, a special Christmas event during which a few lucky guests will have a chance to spend a night in the “sweetest house in the world” while being surrounded by candies, chocolate, gingerbread and all kinds of Christmas delicacies.

Located in the Soho area of London, the Candy Cane House features a lounge, kitchen and bathroom and a bedroom, all decorated to “have the atmosphere, the smell and most importantly the taste of Christmas,” according to the Booking.com statement. And almost everything in the house is edible, from the Christmas wreaths to the pine cones.

“The Candy Cane House is an occasion to enjoy the sweetest of stays,” said Booking.com Regional Manager Ryan Pearson. “It’s perfect for anyone who needs to hit pause on their daily life and for who wants to share a truly remarkable experience with a loved one”. All of this while keeping an eye out for the environment – the Candy Cane House is decorated with compostable fake snow and ecological glitter, and all the sweets and edibles left after the guests have departed will be donated to charity.

The Candy Cane House will be open on 18 and 19 December starting at £99 per night and you can find further information on Booking.com’s official website here.
