A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Association of Uganda Tour Operators that will allow the members of the latter to market gorilla tracking permits and sell them at prevailing rates.

The aim of the three-year agreement is to boost sales of the permits to foreign non-resident tourists. Uganda is currently home to 54% of the world’s eastern mountain gorillas. Read more:  allafrica.com
