Love is Blind is the latest reality show to capture people's imaginations, and if you're a fan of the Netflix dating show, you might be interested in a romantic package being offered by the Mexican resort that features in the show.

The 'Love is Blind Experience' is being offered to guests at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen, which is where the contestants go on the show for a romantic vacation. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, the premise is that 30 men and women date each other from isolated “pods,” and they pair off and get engaged, although they haven't seen each other in advance.

They get to see each other once they're engaged and are scheduled to get married one month later. They have to speed through their first holiday together, cohabitation and meeting the parents, before deciding whether to go through with the marriage. The holiday naturally plays a big role in helping them to get to know one another better.
Guests availing of the 'Love is Blind Experience' get to enjoy a discounted romantic stay in a Grand Class Suite, which has a private plunge pool, Jacuzzi and walk-in glass shower. They will be greeted by a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate truffles upon arrival, and romantic in-suite décor is provided.

To up the romance factor, they will be given spa credit, a three-course dinner on the suite’s oceanfront private terrace, and credit towards private stargazing, an oceanfront picnic or other romantic experiences. And just like the couples from the TV show, they can splash around in the waves and have deep and meaningful talks in private areas.

Those interested in the experience must book by 31 March and travel by 18 December. For more information, please visit the Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort's website here.
