Karen Schoeve, who lives near Dallas in the US state of Texas, allowed the bison to roam around her home making for some unbelievable pictures.

But the days of Bullet wandering around the house are no more. Schoeve took the decision to sell the animal because caring for it, along with her two ponies, while working was getting too much.

Bullet has moved to pastures new – literally. She will share her new home with two cows. Schoeve described Bullet as house-trained – although she sometimes tread mud inside.

She says Bullet is “good hardy stock, but not scary” and has “a great personality”. Bullet was advertised for sale on Craigslist for $5,960 (about £4,110). Schoeve told The Dallas Morning News she received several offers.
