Bored with chains? There's a new website for independent hotels in Ireland

If you’re heading to Ireland and are looking for accommodation inspiration beyond the usual worldwide chains, a new website has launched that represents 60 independent hotels around the country. Original Irish Hotels is a new tourism and hospitality brand representing owner-run hotels in the north and south, and it is designed to embody the spirit and characteristics of indigenous Irish hotels.

It will promote and manage reservations, and aims to be a source of inspiration for visitors. It encompasses historic castles, country house hotels, luxury spas, tranquil resorts and chic urban boutique hotels. The 60 hotels enjoy unique locations, personalities and charm, and cater to every budget, lifestyle and travel interest.

The collection is divided into six different regions of the country: Dublin, the Wild Atlantic Way, Northern Ireland, Ireland’s Ancient East, the Lakelands and Into The West.
