With that in mind, Airbnb has unveiled a selection of unique properties that are available to rent and here are seven of the most intriguing.
Treehouse Retreat in Montana, United States
This unique getaway sits on five acres of Montana woodland in Columbia Falls, surrounded by unspoilt scenery and wildlife. The artistically designed two-storey treehouse is 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park, and close to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. The property has a custom-made metal spiral staircase crafted around a Douglas fir tree, as well as two outside deck areas, a full kitchen, a stove and padded benches. The master suite has a queen-sized mattress and a private bathroom.
Villa Boreale in Québec, Canada
A modern Scandinavian-inspired barn built just ten minutes away from Le Massif de Charlevoix ski resort in Québec, this sleek and stylish villa boasts its own hot tub and wood-burning stove, as well as a number of cosy nooks where guests can relax with a book. De Vere House is a former five-star bed and breakfast nestled in the medieval village of Lavenham. It served as the inspiration for Harry’s childhood home, and appeared as Godric’s Hollow in the films. Guests will have their own private sitting room with a log fire, as well as a beautiful courtyard garden.
