How to score tickets for Hamilton to see Lin-Manuel Miranda reprise his famous role in Puerto Rico

Lin-Manuel Miranda has been deeply committed to hurricane relief in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria’s devastating effects. Now, over a year after the hurricane made landfall, Puerto Rico is open for business and gearing up for what many are calling the island’s fundraising event of the year.

Miranda, who is of Puerto Rican descent, will return to the island for a three-week engagement in January to reprise his role as Alexander Hamilton in the blockbuster Broadway musical. The world-famous hip hop musical will be staged at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Theater in San Juan in an effort to “raise millions” for hurricane relief efforts, as told to Good Morning America.  Tickets went on sale 10 November, 2018 in Puerto Rico and sold out in less than 24 hours. Fortunately there are still a few ways left to snag a highly-coveted seat at the legendary musical.

The Hamilton mobile app will raffle 10,000 seats, with a thousand of those seats reserved exclusively for university students.
