Spain’s recent campaign to quiet noisy diners has gained the favour of several Michelin-starred restaurants.
Madrid eateries including the Hotel Único and Restaurante Martín Berasategui in Lasarte-Oria have signed up to the Eating Without Noise initiative in an attempt to give their customers a more pleasant dining experience. Better insulation and wider spacing between tables are two of the tactics used by restaurants to help decrease noise.
