A Bulgarian company, SuperHosting.BG, has announced that web domain names with the Cyrillic suffix ‘.бг’ could be introduced in approximately six months. Earlier this year, the country’s Transport and Communications Ministry confirmed that the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) had approved the use of the Cyrillic suffix for Bulgaria, even though it looks very similar to the Latin suffix ‘.br’ used by Brazil.
