Provence, France

The best place to find lavender is in Provence in the south of France, with Luberon and Valensole (site of the Jacquemus show) some of the most popular regions to visit. Head there between June and July, as most of the lavender is harvested by August.

In the region of Furano in Hokkaidō, lavender fields attract large numbers of visitors every summer when the plants are in full bloom. The majority of lavender usually starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around mid-July to early August.
