Buy a slice and help end hunger in New York City

The annual Slice Out Hunger event in New York City takes place on Wednesday, from 6pm at St. Anthony’s Church.

This delicious charity fundraiser allows people to purchase a slice of pizza for $1 from 50 of the city’s top pizzerias, including legendary names such as Joe’s, John’s and Grimaldi’s. Drinks and desserts will also be on offer. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Food Bank for New York City. Read more at gothamist.com
