A pack of grey reef sharks catching and devouring a parrotfish was captured in an incredible photograph that saw British photographer Richard Barnden named Underwater Photographer of the Year 2019. It was the winning image out of more than 5000 submitted by photographers from 65 countries around the world. The annual competition, based in the UK, celebrates underwater photography and includes categories like underwater wreck photography and marine conservation.
