A company has created a compact campervan with large windows and extra wide doors that open up, allowing for an immersive experience and serious stargazing.
Unlike traditional camper vans, the Vistabule features a forward facing cab design with a huge overhead window, creating a sense of open space. Users can pull down a pleated shade for privacy, while a large, easily opened porthole window features a screen for keeping insects out. The sleeping and living space fits a queen-sized sofa bed, while a floor to ceiling headboard offers space for stashing clothing and gear. The headboard also includes a pass through opening that provides a clear line of sight from a car’s rear view mirror, allowing drivers to see what is happening in the background. Two large storage spaces are also located beneath the floor for items such as folding chairs and mini-spare tires.
The trailer weighs 1220 pounds and can be towed behind most cars. The Vistabule also includes swing-up tables and chairs, a kitchenette with a two-burner cook top and sink, as well as a grey water holding tank. The trailers are customisable, with options for a range of exterior colors and interior finishes. A propane furnace, a fridge and solar panels can also be added at an extra cost.
