Priceless jewellery on show at Florence’s Palazzo Pitti

Florence’s Palazzo Pitti is holding a glittering exhibition of jewellery that is literally priceless – because the celebrated Italian master goldsmiths Mario and Gianmaria Buccellati designed each of the unique pieces on show for their own personal collection, not to be sold. The exhibition, which runs until 22 February, includes pearl scorpions, silver goblets based on Roman relics found at Pompeii, and silk and gold evening bags. Read more: thelocal.it
