For those with a sweet tooth this is the thing of absolute dreams. This Wednesday, 27 September, experimental culinary experts Bompas & Parr will be bringing a huge sherbet fountain to Motcomb Street in London. Visitors will be able to freely sample from an 8ft sherbet fountain in what is guaranteed to be a sugar-fueled event that will satisfy those with sweet cravings.
While a lot of the details are still currently under wraps until the main event, it’s billed to be a cross between a fountain and a pergola. Visitors to the fountain can reach up and eat from hanging glasses laden with sherbet. The surrounding area will be covered in foliage and trellised pineapples.
Bombas & Parr’s sherbet fountain will be the main draw at a gourmet food street party which is in celebration of the reopening of Motcomb Street. The company, who are very familiar with showcasing experimental creations, previously made St Paul’s Cathedral out of jelly and brought a cocktail boating lake to Selfridges.
This sweet structure will only be around for one night only and will be available to sample from 5pm-10pm. Mark your diaries!
