His owner, Ivy, started taking photographs of her new rescue dog after a close friend commented how cute he was and suggested he should have his own Instagram.
The account, which now has almost 50,000 followers, will melt your heart as it shows Popeye’s foodie adventures from sitting outside cute little cafes to visiting newly opened food trucks around LA.

The adorable mutt has probably visited more restaurants in LA than most normal citizens, and has posed with everything from dog-shaped pretzels, giant churros, a traditional Irish breakfast and two giant hot dogs on a stick! Popeye has become so popular that he is now helping local businesses to promote their fare is the most adorable way.

While Popeye doesn’t eat any of the food he poses with, their are dog-friendly eateries popping up around the world such as this dog-friendly beach bar in Croatia and the pet-friendly bars popping up in towns around Denmark.
