Precious Old China

Chinatown, Merdeka Square & Bukit Nanas

This restaurant inside Central Market has an upscale, Shanghai-1930s look, with lacquered chairs and pricey porcelain on display, and serves similar, excellent Southeast Asian and Nonya dishes. Try the bitter gourd soup for something different. The restaurant also functions as a bar, if you just want a drink.

It's run by the owners of Old China Café.
