Brouwerij 't IJ

Top choice in Amsterdam

Can you get more Dutch than drinking a craft beer beneath the creaking sails of the 1725-built De Gooyer Windmill? Amsterdam's leading microbrewery makes delicious standard, seasonal and limited-edition brews; try the smooth, fruity 'tripel' Zatte, which was their first creation back in 1985. Enjoy yours in the tiled tasting room, lined by an amazing bottle collection, or the plane-tree-shaded terrace.

Tasting flights of five beers go for €10.50. A beer is included in the 30-minute brewery tour that runs in English at 3.30pm Friday to Sunday (€6.50).
