In the northern reaches of the park, this first-come, first-served campground has only 30 spaces and is a handy base for Ubehebe Crater and Racetrack Rd. At an elevation of 1800ft, it's also a lot cooler than the desert floor. Sites come with firepits and tables, and there's water and flush toilets. No RV hookups.
