New Green Restaurant

Sylhet

Resembling a mine shaft bored into a concrete building, this halogen-lit place does a good Bengali breakfast of dhal, shobji (mixed vegetable curry), roti and fried egg, as well as dependable biryanis, bhorta (spiced vegetable mash), bhaji (fried veggies) and curries that you can order by simply pointing at other people's platters. Limited English spoken here, but the staff are friendly.
