This appealing place is set slightly back from the beach about 25km north of Vilankulo along a bush track. Accommodation is in beautifully designed octagonal bungalows on stilts, and there's a restaurant and evening bonfires. It’s a good bet if you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax away from Vilankulo’s bustle and seeking a chance to get acquainted with local life.
It’s also a good base for excursions to Bazaruto Island, as sailing times are shorter than from Vilankulo. Bushwalks can be arranged. Transfers to/from Vilankulo are free for stays of three or more nights.
