A 20-minute walk outside town, on the edge of the highway, this resort is surrounded by its own tropical forest, complete with walking paths. Amenities include a swim-up bar, sauna and disco. It’s a bit rundown, and not the world’s quietest place, but it’s fun if you’re with children.
