FAC, shop façade

Celebrated Florentine chef Simone Cipriani from Essenziale cooks up affordable, 'fast and casual' dining inside food emporium Eataly. Head up to the 1st floor to savour Italian-inspired street food to share – pulled-beef taco with cabbage and coriander, polenta with squid-ink ragout, meatballs in tomato sauce – around shared picnic tables, or snag a table in the laid-back trattoria.

A good-value aperitivo comprising a glass of wine or spritz (a type of cocktail made with Prosecco) and tapas (€6) is served from 5pm, but a full-blown dinner can only be ordered from 7pm.
