No leading London contemporary art gallery can claim residence within a Royal Park other than a mighty pair sitting on either side of the Serpentine Bridge. Serpentine South occupies a 1930s tea pavilion and is one of the most important contemporary art spaces in town, exhibiting the likes of Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons and Ai Weiwei.
