Floyd Country Store

Top choice

This place is why most folk come to Floyd, especially for the Friday Night Jamboree, which starts at 6:30pm. For $5, you get three bluegrass bands in four hours and the chance to watch happy crowds jam to regional heritage music. No smokin', no drinkin', but there's plenty of dancin' (of the flat footing style) and good cheer.

There are also performances on weekend days; on warm nights you'll likely catch music jams on the sidewalk outside. Every first Saturday of the month between May and September, the store hosts the live Floyd Radio Show from 7:30pm. Tickets cost $12 ($15 purchased on the night) and should be booked in advance.
