Florida is home to some of the best theme parks in the US from Universal Orlando Resort to Walt Disney World and Busch Gardens. But which park is the best of the bunch? You could get paid £3000 (€3538) to find out.
Does the Butterbeer in Hogsmeade live up to its creamy reputation? Are the fireworks in The Magic Kingdom as dazzling as they appear on Instagram? Is the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror as terrifying as it sounds? One lucky person could be paid to find out.
Ocean Florida, one of the UK's leading Florida tour operators, will offer one lucky candidate the opportunity to travel around the Sunshine State reviewing a variety of theme parks and everything they have to offer. They'll be paid a £3000 salary for a three-week period in April or May, with expenses covered.
As the Official Florida Theme Park Tester, the chosen applicant will be tasked with providing essential feedback on each park based on the following criteria: overall experience; quality and variety of food and drink; souvenirs and brand merchandise; suitability for families/couples; thrill factor for each ride, show and display; parades and photo ops.
They can bring along a friend or family member to share the experience (their travel and accommodation expenses will be covered too). And to get the most out of the experience, fast/photo passes will be provided for each theme park. The candidate, who must be "social media savvy" and able to "capture top-notch photo/video content" will also be provided with a GoPro camera, as well as a Fitbit to measure steps and heart-rate during different activities.
Thrill-seekers can apply by filling in this form; they're invited to get a little creative and explain which Disney character they'd like to be and why. Applicants must be 18 or over and have a valid passport.
