The needn't bother with the lame slogans ('Uraidla's worst pub') – the very fact that Uraidla's only pub has been revived from near-dereliction puts a smile on everyone's face. Pressed-tin ceilings, weathered Chesterfields, exposed stonework, Persian rugs…it's all very textural and stimulating. As are the house craft beers (try the Paranormal Realm Porter) and restaurant meals (mains $22 to $36). Terrific!
