Just outside Brattleboro lies the production facility of Grafton Village Cheese Company, one of Vermont's finest cheese makers. Watch the sublime cheddars being made (Monday to Friday till 2pm) through the upstairs observation window, then descend to the shop to taste and purchase dozens of cheeses from Grafton and other small Vermont producers, and browse for other local delicacies.
