Drie Tumuli

Northeast Belgium

The most unique evocation of Tienen's rich Roman heritage is this trio of grave mounds commemorating Marcus Probius Burrus. Left overgrown for a century after their original excavation in 1892, the site was relandscaped in 2018, with information boards added at the roadside.
