Weird, wonderful and thought-provoking Buxton Contemporary, located at the University of Melbourne’s art school, opened in 2018 powered by the Michael Buxton Collection of contemporary Australian art. The four public galleries contain various exhibitions with works along a spectrum from contemporary to creepy. Check online for talks and lectures, and to make sure it's not closed for installations.
