The Goodyear Blimp been providing aerial views of football games since the 1955 Rose Bowl and later this year, the iconic airship will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as an honorary member, the first non-player or coach elected. And to celebrate the honour, and college football's 150th anniversary, Airbnb is offering fans an overnight stay in the blimp at its hangar in Mogadore, Ohio, overlooking Lake Wingfoot.

The hangar is huge, about the size of 2.6 football fields and for the occasion, it will be decked out with special facilities. There's a "football lounge" where "guests can relax and watch some of the all-time best rivalry games in college football history," according to Airbnb, as well as a landing pad with a grill, fire pit and other "tailgate essentials." Guests can even take their dinner to the lake and, if they're lucky, they might even spot one of the resident bald eagles soaring by.

In terms of essential facilities, there is one bed located inside the famous 246-foot, 20,000-pound blimp itself, and one bathroom. Everything is decorated in shades of blue and yellow (but calm, soothing muted shades that won't hurt your eyes). As well as all that, guests will be treated to prime tickets to the University of Michigan-Notre Dame game and will receive official game day gear to wear on the big day in support of their team of choice.

While the stay is only available for two people, four friends can tag along for the day.
