This pan is part of an array of salt pans or salt flats throughout Northern / Central Botswana. We travelled here during the Zebra Migration; this wildlife spectacle occurs during the green season. The Zebra migration is the largest mass migration of zebra in southern Africa, after the Great Migration in Kenya's Masai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti. The Chobe-Nxai Pan zebra migration is the longest mammal migration in Africa.
