Young artisan ice-cream maker Alberto Bati, partner Giulia and sister Deborah have quickly lured a huge local following with their contemporary artisan gelateria near Piazza San Marco. Sensational flavours include dark chocolate with Chianti red wine, black sesame, mint and basil, and black sesame and melacotta (a wonderful fusion of ricotta, honey, cinnamon and apple).
