Chénghuáng Miào

Lanzhou

The gods probably would not approve, but this former house of Taoist worship has been turned into one of Lanzhou’s most atmospheric shopping venues. Vendors sell everything from Mao kitsch to tea sets, pottery, woodwork and antiquities. The temple is set back on the north side of Buxingjie (pedestrian-only), 500m east of Zhongshan Lu.
