Alexandria Museum of Art

This wonderful little museum boasts a deep collection of art and also serves as a lynchpin of the Alexandria cultural scene. Rotating exhibitions may explore regional Louisiana art, contemporary sculpture or classic European masters like Rembrandt. The museum is housed in the stately historic Rapides Bank Building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
