Iglesia de la Aurora

Built in the 16th century and remodelled in the 1700s, this is one of Priego's most lavish baroque churches, with a particularly splendid gilded main altarpiece and an extravagantly decorated dome.

According to a local tradition, a group of singers from the church's resident brotherhood (the Hermanos de la Aurora), wanders through town each Saturday night singing the rosary and religious songs.
