Galloway’s Bar & Restaurant

Puerto Rico

‘Snowbirds Welcome’ reads the sign out front, but those four-seasoned spring-breakers from Minneapolis you’ve just spied on the waterfront deck aren’t the only birds pecking at the food. Small black-feathered creatures will make a beeline for any spare morsel: hold on to your freshly prepared octopus! Something of a local legend, Galloway’s combines great seafood with a picturesque waterfront setting.

All pretense of being a restaurant is dropped by 9pm on weekends, when a fun-loving crowd shows up for live 1980s and '90s rock. There’s also occasional Spanish guitar music. The joint is feeling the strain of years of partying, but holding out okay.
