Blasket Island Experience

Dingle Peninsula

If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere. These three restored cottages on Great Blasket island have no electricity, no hot running water and certainly no TV. Instead you have a cold-water supply, gas cookers, wood-burning stoves and candles…and the chance to enjoy a break from the modern world with an island almost to yourself.

Access is by boat from Dunquin Harbour (adult/child €35/15) and takes approximately 20 minutes. Departures depend on tide and weather, so guests must be flexible.
