I Segreti del Chiostro

Top choice in Palermo

Countless blessings await at this extraordinary pasticceria, hidden away in a former convent. The culmination of endless hours of research, it uses once secret recipes to bake rare sweet treats from numerous Sicilian convents. Everything is made from scratch using premium ingredients, including the fedde del Cancelliere, a reckless concoction of apricot jam and biancomangiare (almond pudding) encased in marzipan clam shells.

The frutta martorana (fruit-shaped marzipan) is exceptionally soft and not too sweet, while the epic cannoli are filled to order.
