Mokoan Hub & Cafe

Victoria

A good place to view the Winton Wetlands' ever-evolving landscape is from the deck of this cafe that's been judged one of Australia's best examples of sustainable architecture. Try the sweet potato and zucchini fritters before renting a mountain bike or a kayak ($10) to explore the wetlands. The attached visitor centre is staffed by enthusiastic and knowledgable volunteers.

The 40m flying fox zip line is popular with adventurous younger diners.
