Smokin' Pineapple

Abu Dhabi

They had us at the hammocks. We love this easy-breezy beach restaurant-bar with swings at the bar, hammocks and wood deck scattered with floor cushions and sofas looking out to the sand and sea. The menu is a casual mix of wood-fired pizzas with a few sandwiches and pasta dishes thrown in for good measure.

If you're not a guest at Zaya Nurai Island Resort, you can come here either on the day-pass package or just for dinner. Dinner guests have no minimum spend. You can just take any boat from the Nurai Island Welcome Centre on Saadiyat Island from 6.30pm onward, though booking is recommended.
