Baba i Dede

Mavrovo National Park

Baba i Dede means Grandpa and Grandma – and indeed it's a pair of Galičnik ancients (more or less the only two people who live in the village year-round) who welcome you at this charming guesthouse with a restaurant. The four rooms are spacious and homely, and the traditional food is delicious, prepared by the ever-smiling Baba.

Filip and Marko, grandsons of the eponymous Baba and Dede, organise bike outings around the area – from light to quite demanding mountain-biking tours. Ask for details.
