The Owlet Lodge offers large, exceptionally quiet rooms ideal for nature lovers and anyone who just wants to get away from the noise of civilization. It's a simple, rustic affair, the adornments being provided more by the birds outside than the comforts within. Gourmet meals are served in a dining room with views of mountainous forest.
The lodge is run by Peru's Association of Andean Ecosystems (ECOAN) and room rates include admission to the Abra Patricia-Alto Nieva Private Conservation Area. Trails lead off from the lodge with guides on hand to direct you.
