Monira Homestay

The Pamir Highway

It's possible to choose between a mattress on a sleeping platform in the tiny but cosy two-room house or in the yurt immediately outside. There's no shower at present as water is very scarce here (despite the location, the lakes are salty) and there is only limited, solar-powered electricity. Nonetheless the welcome more than compensates for the minor inconveniences.
