Seven Emu Station

Outback Northern Territory

Deep in the heart of Gulf country and on the doorstep of Pungalina – Seven Emu Wildlife Sanctuary, Seven Emu Station is a remote working cattle station which offers a unique package of fishing, remote camping and wildlife-watching. The camp sites are in the stockman tradition, with shelter sheds, fire pits and long-drop loos-with-a-view.

It also accepts willing hands on the station – for every day's work you do, you get free meals and accommodation. You'll need a 4WD to get here and the homestead is signposted off the Savannah Way, 85km southeast of Borroloola.
