Malika Surf Camp

Dakar

This small, Italian-run place on Yoff beach has a bohemian vibe that draws a mix of surfers, aspiring surfers and those just wanting to enjoy the beach. Rooms are basic, but there's a small courtyard strung with hammocks, and a roof deck where you can sit on a bamboo chair, cold drink in hand, and watch the waves roll in.

Malika offers surf classes and gives package deals for surfers. A week's lodging with daily lesson, gear (surfboard, wetsuit) and half board costs €300.
