W Bali – Seminyak

Kerobokan

Like many W hotels, the usual too-cute-for-comfort vibe is at work here (how 'bout an 'extreme wow' suite?), but the location on a wave-tossed stretch of sand and the views are hard to quibble with. Stylish, hip bars, restaurants and smiling staff abound. The pricey rooms all have balconies, but not all have ocean views.

The Woobar is a great spot for a sundowner; happy-hour two-for-one cocktails come with a free pizza (from 4pm to 6pm).
