Pine Box Rock Shop

Brooklyn: Williamsburg, Greenpoint & Bushwick

This entertainment upstart in a rickety former casket factory is run by a friendly vegan musician couple. There are more than a dozen draft beers to choose from, as well as widely lauded, spicy Bloody Marys – like everything else, none of its ingredients contain animal products. Local artwork graces the walls, and a back room hosts regular gigs and comedy.

Empanadas and other bar snacks are served to sop up the damage from one too many Doornails (that is, grape soda and lemon vodka).
